ON CREATING YOUR BRAND (BLOG BELOW)
It’s been a minute, but I’m back and better than ever. Taking some time off to work on my personal brand and discover my voice has been so good for creating a life that “sparks joy” (Any Marie Kondo fans out there?) Part of my time away was also spent in the mountains helping some sweet friends with their branding and business goals! I say if you are going to start a business “write down your goals and make it happen.” Putting something into writing always makes it more permanent, right? (or at least that's what i like to tell myself)
Here are some steps that helped me move forward in my dreams this year:
Create time - I felt like I was always running from one activity to the next with no time to stop and figure out what I really wanted out of my day. I finally wrote down a list of things I really didn’t enjoy doing (grocery shopping was #1 on that list) and a list of things I wish I had more time for (writing, reading, self care) I realized I spent about 3 hours a week driving to the grocery store and shopping. A quick grocery delivery service later and I gained back 3n hours of my week to do what I wanted.
Get Organized- If you haven’t had a chance to literally go through everything you own in one weekend, you are not alone. I’ve started small and just focused on organizing my electronics. Deleting/Archiving old emails, cleaning up my apps, and updating my devices. It feels like a real win in my book.
Advocate for yourself - Yup, it’s never easy. I’m working with a friend who is wanting to start her own company and the first thing I told her was to pick her company name and put it on a business card. There are so many times where you meet someone in a coffee shop who just might be the missing piece to your vision. Give that person a business card that fits your personality… and that’s where Basic Invite comes in with amazing business cards!
Let me start by saying Basic Invite is offering 15% off with coupon code: 15FF51 (yasss sale)
They have almost unlimited colors and you can see instantly what color you choose!. I’m not sure that there is another company that offers that! Woo! They also have custom samples, and over 40 different colors of envelopes! You can create business cards online so simply without having to hire an outside designer. You literally have no excuses they make it so easy! Literally start here with their business cards designs template and take the first step. I choose the foil because why not have rose gold on everything?
