ON PILGRIMAGE FEST
Oh my Franklin, it's just not quite feeling like fall yet. This weekend reached 90+ degrees but that didn't stop the thousands of people attending Pilgrimage. One of Universal's artists, The Strumbellas, were performing so Erik and I went to check out their set. Gosh was the crowd alive! Everyone seemed so into the entire performance. Normally when I go to a show in Nashville people just kind of nod their head and sway....this was not like that. The Strumbellas had people dancing and singing the entire time. Coming from a Nashville native, that is impressive. After their set, Erik and I wandered around the artist tent where we found Music Cares giving away custom in-ear protection. I'm still so giddy about ear protection, but that just comes from years and years of standing right in front of speakers and being sick of the constant ringing in my ears. Next to the tent, Frye Boots had set up a little pop up shop! I'm so excited that they are opening a store in Nashville. Hopefully we will have some UMG artist performing on their in-store stage soon!
